Dawn Technology

Dawn Technology builds custom, technology-independent IT solutions from its base in Hilversum, the Netherlands. The firm employs more than 200 specialists and works across all technology stacks in-house, from full-stack development to bespoke engineering for individual clients. Its engineers are organised into more than 15 tech chapters, which structure knowledge-sharing and technical depth across the company.

Public-facing work illustrates the range of its portfolio. The company developed custom software to shorten queues at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, and built a national election platform now used by more than 150 Dutch municipalities. These projects sit alongside engagements in aviation and the public sector, reflecting a client base that spans government and industry.

Dawn Technology also pursues a buy-and-build strategy aimed at strengthening the Dutch software sector, with investment backing from Vortex. Internally, the firm states that craftsmanship, expertise and enjoyment of the work are its core values, with an emphasis on space to develop professionally and on attention to detail in both the work and in colleagues.
