These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the CEEhire website at ceehire.com (the "Site"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
The Site is operated by Juhász Anikó EV (registered in Hungary, 4025 Debrecen, Fényes udvar 7.). Contact: hello@ceehire.com.
1. What CEEhire is
CEEhire is a job board focused on remote IT positions in Central and Eastern Europe. We connect IT professionals with employers offering remote roles at EU, US, and UK companies. We are a platform — we do not act as an employer, recruiter, or employment agency in relation to job listings posted on the Site.
2. Use of the Site
You may use the Site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
You agree not to:
Post false, misleading, or fraudulent job listings or profile information
Use the Site to distribute spam, malware, or harmful content
Scrape or use automated tools to access the Site without our written permission
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or its systems
Impersonate any person or organization
Violate any applicable law or regulation
3. Accounts
To access certain features, you need to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us at hello@ceehire.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Job listings
For employers: By posting a job, you confirm that the listing is accurate, the role is a genuine vacancy, and you have authority to post on behalf of the company. You are responsible for compliance with applicable employment laws.
No liability for listings: CEEhire does not verify the accuracy, completeness, or legitimacy of job postings. We are not responsible for hiring decisions, the conduct of employers, or the outcome of any application. Job seekers use listing information at their own risk.
We reserve the right to remove any listing that violates these Terms or that we consider inappropriate, without notice.
5. Job applications
When you apply to a job through the Site, you authorize us to share your application materials with the posting employer. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you submit.
We do not guarantee a response to applications, and we do not guarantee employment outcomes.
6. Recruiter services
CEEhire may also offer headhunting and recruiter pipeline services separately from job listings. In those cases, the handling of candidate data is governed by the Privacy Policy and requires separate consent from candidates. These services are subject to individual agreements with employer clients.
7. Intellectual property
The Site and its content, design, and functionality are owned by Juhász Anikó EV and protected by applicable intellectual property law.
You retain ownership of content you submit (your profile, CV, job postings). By submitting content to the Site, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating the Site.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Juhász Anikó EV shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site, including loss of data, revenue, or employment opportunities.
Our total liability for any claim arising from use of the Site shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Juhász Anikó EV and any associated persons from claims, damages, and costs (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Site or your breach of these Terms.
11. Third-party links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content or practices and do not endorse them.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Hungary. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent Hungarian courts.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance.
