In 2016, our founders Girish Shilamkar and Vishal Biyani recognized a critical gap in the cloud infrastructure landscape: companies were struggling to adopt cloud-native technologies at scale. Traditional infrastructure approaches were failing to meet the demands of modern, distributed applications. So they founded InfraCloud - an open-source cloud-native computing company dedicated to helping enterprises build AI Cloud, modernize applications, and transform their infrastructure. From the beginning, InfraCloud was one of the first Kubernetes partners, establishing deep expertise in container orchestration and actively contributing to the open-source community that powers modern cloud computing.
What started as a vision to democratize cloud-native adoption has evolved into a comprehensive platform engineering and application modernization powerhouse. InfraCloud now helps organizations across banking, finance, automotive, and other industries navigate their cloud journeys with services spanning Kubernetes consulting, GitOps implementation, service mesh adoption, observability stacks, and DevSecOps. The company has grown consistently, expanding from its Pune headquarters to serve global clients while maintaining its commitment to open source. In April 2025, InfraCloud joined forces with Improving, a global digital services organization, to accelerate innovation and expand capabilities in AI-driven infrastructure. Today, InfraCloud continues to push the boundaries of what's possible with cloud-native technologies, helping enterprises build resilient, scalable platforms that power their most critical applications.
