This is a remote position.
On behalf of our Client, the UK branch of a global consulting company, we are looking for an experienced Data Engineer. On this position you will lead the migration of existing Talend ETL jobs to AWS Glue as well as implement rule-based data quality validation in Glue.
Requirements
- Expert-level AWS Glue: focus on data pipelines and data transformations development
- Hands-on skills with AWS services: S3, Lambda, SNS
- Understanding of Talend ETL jobs (java)
- Development of Data Pipelines & Data Transformation
- Building automated reconciliation and integrity checks
- System integration: REST API
- Understanding of CI/CD & Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- Development on scrum teams
- Data Security & Compliance
- Excellent problem-solving & troubleshooting capabilities
