In 2015, our founder Dr. Ching-i Hsu, who previously founded Raritan, recognized a critical gap in data center management. After more than two decades in the industry, he saw that data center operators were struggling with overly complex point tools and homegrown applications. The tools that were supposed to help were actually creating more work, forcing teams to rely on emails and spreadsheets to manage their most critical infrastructure. Something had to change.
So Sunbird Software was born with a clear mission: to radically simplify data center management with elegant software that just works. The company evolved from that founding insight into an international industry leader, now serving over 1,650 customers globally who manage millions of assets across hundreds of thousands of racks.
