The Sharing Group is a Dutch technology group operating a portfolio of companies across three sectors: Online, Energy, and Mobility. With over 600,000 customers, more than 250 employees, and revenues of €92.8 million, the group builds and scales technology products aimed at accelerating structural transitions in each of its core markets.
Its portfolio spans seven distinct companies. Mijndomein provides domain registration, web hosting, and online services to hundreds of thousands of customers. EnergyZero offers dynamic energy contracts in the retail energy market, while Hegg handles dynamic energy management and smart home controls, and Bliq develops software and hardware for home battery systems. On the mobility side, MyWheels operates as a shared car service - claiming market leadership in that segment - having logged 57.2 million shared-car kilometres. Drop Mobility provides shared mobility solutions including e-bikes. Soverin rounds out the group as a privacy-first email provider. Across its energy operations, the group reports 343,000 energy connections and claims 3,500 tonnes of CO₂ saved.
The group operates an ownership model - referred to as its Aandelers programme - through which customers, employees, and bondholders can become co-owners of the company. This structure reflects a stated philosophy of distributing the benefits of participation broadly rather than concentrating them. The Sharing Group works with governments, businesses, and consumers on the societal challenges addressed by its product lines.
