Xealth develops a care-orchestration platform that integrates digital health tools directly into electronic health records. The system allows clinicians to prescribe, monitor, and manage digital programs, patient education modules, and remote monitoring capabilities from within the patient chart, eliminating the need to switch between separate systems.
The company was spun out in 2017 by a team of consumer technology specialists who had previously built products including Swype and Boost Mobile. The founders recognised the opportunity while working within Providence St. Joseph Health in 2016, and the platform is now trusted by hundreds of health systems across the United States.
In October 2025, Xealth was acquired by Samsung Electronics. Samsung intends to combine Xealth's expertise in clinical workflow integration with its wearable technology to expand connected, preventative care offerings globally. The acquisition signals a shift toward deeper integration with consumer devices and international expansion beyond the company's initial focus on the American healthcare market.
