Observable Space is a space technology company founded in 2025 that builds infrastructure enabling satellites and spacecraft to see, navigate, and communicate. With a team of over 175 employees, it operates from Detroit and Los Angeles, serving sectors including defense, aerospace, and research institutions.

The company's work spans three technical domains: high-throughput laser communications, ground-based optical sensing systems, and in-space optical payloads. Its products consist of laser communications ground stations for high-speed data transmission, optical sensors for tracking space objects, and integrated optical devices for imaging and sensing in spacecraft.

Observable Space has secured $90 million in Series A funding and a $94 million contract with the U.S. Space Force. Operational metrics include over 2,000 connected telescopes, 2.6 million automated tasks executed, and more than 20 million targets identified.
