HALA is a Saudi fintech company founded in 2017 that provides financial products and services to small and medium-sized enterprises, merchants, and freelancers across Saudi Arabia and the broader MENAP region. The company operates across six countries and employs more than 650 people.
Its platform combines business accounts with IBANs, debit card issuance, digital payment processing, expense management tools, and point-of-sale financing into a single offering. HALA serves more than 150,000 merchants and freelancers and processes over $350 million in transactions each month. The company is licensed by the Saudi Arabian Central Bank (SAMA) and the Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) in Abu Dhabi.
HALA has raised $157 million in a Series B round led by TPG and Sanabil Investments, in what has been described as one of the Middle East's largest fintech fundraises. The capital reflects the scale of the opportunity in providing accessible financial infrastructure to underserved SME and merchant segments across the region.
