Mimica builds AI-powered task mining software for enterprise customers. Its platform observes work as it is performed across desktop applications, recording clicks and keystrokes, and converts that raw activity into process maps that show decision points, bottlenecks and variations in how tasks are actually carried out. The system scores identified improvement opportunities by return on investment and recommends a suitable automation technology for each one - robotic process automation, document processing or generative AI - before setting out a plan for transformation.

The company operates at the intersection of several technical disciplines, among them machine learning, task and process mining, process discovery, desktop activity capture, automation opportunity identification and GenAI. It has raised more than $26m in total capital, with investors including Khosla Ventures and Paladin Capital Group.
