Nerdio

Nerdio makes automation and management software for MSPs and IT teams running Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365 and Microsoft Intune, with a focus on cutting Azure costs.

Nerdio builds automation and unified management software for managed service providers and enterprise IT teams that run Microsoft cloud environments. Its platform brings the management of Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365 and Microsoft Intune into a single console, using automation to reduce the complexity, time and cost of operating cloud-based desktops. The company reports that its tooling can help IT teams save up to 80% on Azure costs.

The product traces its origins to Adar, a managed service provider where co-founder Vadim Vladimirskiy developed the software as an internal tool. Nerdio was founded in 2020 by Vladimirskiy and Joseph Landes, drawing on that first-hand experience of the difficulties involved in managing virtual desktops at scale. The company serves thousands of MSPs and enterprise customers across more than 50 countries.

Technical work at Nerdio concentrates on several connected areas: cloud management and cost optimisation, virtual desktop infrastructure built on Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365 cloud PC management, and endpoint and device management through Microsoft Intune. The sectors in which the company is active are managed services, enterprise IT and Microsoft Azure-based cloud computing.
