Our Client, Binhatch: a fast-growing boutique agency building business-critical software powered by AI
Our client, Binhatch is a fast-growing boutique technology consultancy trusted by industry-defining companies to build business-critical software and AI-powered products. Their teams work on platforms that operate at scale, systems used daily by millions of users, where performance, reliability, and thoughtful design truly matter. From fintech platforms and digital-native products to automation, orchestration, and AI-driven systems, they design and build high-performance, highly available software that runs multi-million-euro businesses.
They operate at the cutting edge of modern software development. Their engineering culture embraces state-of-the-art technologies, with a strong focus on AI-assisted coding, agentic workflows, and developer-augmentation tools. They actively invest in tooling, experimentation, and new ways of working that allow their engineers to move faster, think deeper, and focus on high-impact problems.
They value ownership, craftsmanship, and direct impact.
With increasing demand from a Germany-based client, they are expanding their team with several Senior Full Stack Engineers, and we are supporting this growth
As a Senior Full Stack Engineer you will...
Work as part of a small, senior, dedicated team (typically 3–4 people), embedded in a client’s problem space.
Design and build systems and platforms, including APIs, internal and public services, and developer tooling.
Ensure stability, high availability, and high performance across the systems you own.
Participate in an on-call rotation to support system reliability and maintenance (24/7, compensated separately).
Continuously evolve and improve existing systems, consolidating services and strengthening tooling and observability.
Maintain and improve infrastructure as client products scale and grow.
Take end-to-end ownership of delivery, from design and implementation to rollout and ongoing quality.
Communicate frequently and effectively to drive alignment, unblock progress, and surface risks early.
Author and review technical documentation to support sound decision-making and long-term clarity.
Help shape their engineering culture by sharing knowledge, reviewing code, and leading by example.
Technology Stack and AI
They operate with a language-agnostic, problem-first mindset. They choose technologies based on the problem they are solving, not the other way around, and they expect engineers to comfortably learn and adopt new languages and tools as needed.
You do NOT need experience with all of the technologies below. They represent examples of what they commonly use today:
- Typescript, Node.js
- Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform)
- Containerization and orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes)
Equivalent experience in other languages, frameworks, or platforms is fully acceptable.
Nice to have
- Python
- MongoDB
- GraphQL
- Cloud platforms (cloud-agnostic approach)
- Kafka
- Datadog
AI-assisted coding
They are using AI as an active engineering partner: delegating implementation and iteration while they focus on framing problems, guiding execution, reviewing outcomes, and making sound technical decisions.
What we are looking for:
We’re looking for software engineers who thrive on solving complex, high-impact problems and who combine technical excellence with strong product judgment and client empathy.
You bring a strong backend background with broad familiarity across APIs, cloud infrastructure, storage systems, data structures, and core design patterns.
You have hands-on experience with distributed systems and data-intensive applications, including consistency tradeoffs, replication strategies, identifying invariants, data partitioning, and patterns like event sourcing, CQRS and saga-based transactions.
You apply domain-driven design principles to architect systems around bounded contexts and domain events, balancing technical elegance with business clarity.
You think in systems, look beyond the immediate task, anticipate downstream effects, and help shape architecture that works well over time.
You care about performance, scale, and clean abstractions, and approach measuring, prioritizing, and improving them pragmatically.
You’ve collaborated across teams to improve platforms and infrastructure, from service boundaries to observability and internal tooling.
You’re comfortable moving between strategic thinking and hands-on technical work.
You’re comfortable owning and operating what you build, end to end.
You communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with both peers and clients.
You thrive in fast-paced environments that value autonomy and initiative.
You care deeply about quality, performance, reliability, and developer experience.
You’re motivated by solving tough problems, not just writing code.
You thrive in remote, async environments.
You speak English fluently.
